The 7th World Festival will be held in Vapi, Gujarat, India from February 20 to February 26 in 2012. Check out the specially-prepared video here.
IFCR world president David Horsley and IFCR GB&I chairman, Norman Brown, visited Vapi in March 2011 to gain first hand knowledge of the venue and the plans for the festival. Norman's report can be accessed here.
The registration form for the Vapi festival is available here. When you have completed the form you should forward it to the organisers at the address on the form.
The organisers recognise that attendees will arrive at Mumbai at many different times and that many people will arrive a day or so before the start of the festival. The Holiday Inn www.Holidayinn.com/mumbai-airport at Mumbai airport is recommended as the preferred venue for those needing accommodation in Mumbai prior to travelling to Vapi. Transport from the airport to the Holiday Inn can be arranged by emailing the hotel at holidayinnmumbai@ihg.com or contacting them at 91 22 4085 180.
Transport from either the Holiday Inn or Mumbai airport to Vapi will be handled by the members of RC of Bombay North West. Once the festival organisers have details of the travel plans of attendees they will arrange for the collection of delegates and their transport to Vapi accordingly.
